All textiles and materials must be child-friendly to avoid your children from getting injured.

4. Color and texture

It is important to carefully choose the color and texture of the room as it influences your children personality and mood. Warm color usually inspire happiness whereas cool color can have a calming effect for children. For instance,  the color red is said to have the ability to energize the body and excite the mind. Too much red may encourage aggressive behaviour and inability to focus. Orange is one of the great color for children as this warm color help encourage confidence, extroversion and independence. Soft yellow can help a person to concentrate and bright yellow can help to increase memory. However overused of yellow colour might create anger and the feeling of agitation. Blue and green colour have soothing effect. Research found that applying green color in reading zones can improve the reading speed and comprehension of children. Like everything else, excessive use of  will bring negative effects so be sure not to overuse the same color.
